Now quite a Werebear, but close.

I like it. I hope someday we get an actual double-faced werebear.

Based on the collector number, this will not appear in packs.

It's part of the free welcome deck cards.

Now that I check, I think it's actually from one of the planeswalker decks.
As such, here are cards you'll be seeing in Welcome Decks and in the Core Set 2019 main set or Planeswalker Decks. Everything shown here numbered 284 or higher comes in the Planeswalker Decks. Everything else is from the main set.

Bear Berserker is kind of redundant
But always happy to see more berserkers. Well... in the game at least.

is ursine champion too weak?

different power levels on different effects go into making a unique environment probably. magic has pretty dynamic balance and that's a nice thing.

It's ok in Limited, but I used to play the Knight in one of my Standard decks. Also, I just realized the flavor text of the Knight hinted at Bolas before he showed up in the next set

Did anybody notice that, minus the activated ability, it has the same cost, power and toughness as Grizzly Bears
