I don't think there's any real interaction with the gates, since the gate subtype does nothing on its own (Maze's End cares about names). With the locus, all it does is count toward your locus count for Cloudpost or Glimmerpost. With tron, however, it turns on other Urza lands, which can mean between 3-4 mana on turn two and 6-7 turn three a lot of the time (the latter is something Urzatron can already do, but it probably doesn't need any additional consistency, while the former is terrifying). It also does crazy stuff with domain, though admittedly only Tribal Flames really would probably matter. It's a cool idea, but probably not feasible.
