So, you may have seen my ICD Elations #300 and thought, "whoa who does this guy think he is just jumping to 300 like that". Well, assface, I actually designed 299 cards on the previous iteration of YMtC. So, to give you a taste of what you've missed out on, and what you'll be dealing with in times to come, I've decided to make this thread which will showcase some of my favourite designs from the first 299 Elations. Enjoy (or don't)!

Cataclysmic Ascension |
Enchantment - Aura
Enchant creature
When Cataclysmic Ascension enters the battlefield, destroy all creatures except for enchanted creature.
Enchanted creature gets +5/+5 and has flying and lifelink.


Fuse |
Sorcery
For the rest of the game, equipment cannot be unattached from creatures by the effects of spells or abilities.


Keeper of the Triptych |
Creature - Wizard
Players have a minimum hand size of three. (At the beginning of each cleanup step, if the active player has less than three cards in his or her hand, he or she draws cards until he or she has three cards in his or her hand. This turn-based action doesn’t use the stack.)

Spectral Membrane |
Enchantment
Instants can’t be cast into an empty stack.
“Too many live manically and with profuse haste. Step back, study your surroundings calmly, then act only when the time is right.” — Dynn, Arch Ancient


Break Pride |
Instant
Gain control of target creature that was dealt damage this turn.
“Your honor won’t serve you her. It will serve me.” — Rixanon, Dominion Risen


Murderous Instinct |
Instant
Until end of turn, target creature gains “: Destroy target creature.”
“In that moment, I saw what was wrong with the world, and I corrected it.”


Lay Ablaze |
Sorcery
Put a blaze counter on each land without a blaze counter on it. Then, players may sacrifice any number of lands. For as long as a land has a blaze counter on it, it has “At the beginning of your upkeep, this land deals 1 damage to you.”


Living Conduit |
Creature - Human Shaman
Living Conduit is the source of all damage.

Auraskipper |
Creature - Faerie
Enchantmentwalk
Whenever Auraskipper deals combat damage to a player, you may destroy target enchantment.
Erasing impurity, skip by skip.

Ferocious Assault |
Sorcery
For each creature you control that attacked this turn, put a 4/4 green Beast creature token with haste onto the battlefield. After this main phase, there is an additional combat phase followed by an additional main phase.


Elesh Norn's Word |
Sorcery
Gain control of target creature with a -1/-1 counter on it, then put a -1/-1 counter on each creature.
“Ye who submit, glory awaits you. Ye who deny, this is your end.” — Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite


Jin-Gitaxias' Will |
Sorcery
Draw a card for each creature with a -1/-1 counter on it, then put a -1/-1 counter on each creature.
“Every specimen examined and converted brings us power evermore. Your resistance will be met with our scalpels, one way or another.” — Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur


Sheoldred's Malice |
Sorcery
Destroy all creatures with -1/-1 counters on them, then put a -1/-1 counter on each creature.
“Our visions of perfection are almost compleat. Your screams reach unlistening ears.” — Sheoldred, Whispering One


Urabrask's Desire |
Sorcery
Add to your mana pool for each creature with a -1/-1 counter on it, then put a -1/-1 counter on each creature.
“Perfection does not simply occur. We must feed the flames of creation and forge our perfect vision.” — Urabrask, the Hidden


Vorinclex's Roar |
Sorcery
Put a 3/3 green Horror creature token onto the battlefield for each creature with a -1/-1 counter on it, then put a -1/-1 counter on each creature.
“Come forth, dark genesis, and consume the defiant. This world will find perfection in our metallic fangs.” — Vorinclex, Voice of Hunger


Calamitous Visions |
Sorcery
Scry 3, then reveal the top card of your library. Destroy all nonland permanents with the same converted mana cost as that card.
“If you foresaw ones death, would you warn them of it? Or would you withhold and not cause them worry?” — Dynn, Arch Ancient


Istrix Tasae, Permeator |
Legendary Creature - Spirit
Vigilance
Whenever Istrix Tasae, Permeator deals combat damage to a creature, gain control of that creature at the end of combat.
Whenever Istrix Tasae deals combat damage to a player, you control that player during his or her next combat phase.

Boon Channel |
Enchantment
If a permanent would leave the battlefield, if it has any counters on it, you may distribute any number of those counters among permanents as you choose.
Waste not, want not.


Projection |
Instant
Copy target enchantment spell. You may choose new targets for the copy.
“Wondrous, how good lighting conditions can make all the difference.” — Cora, enchantress


Ancient Resonance |
Enchantment - Aura
Enchant permanent
You may play cards that share a card type with enchanted permanent from your graveyard.
All that has passed shall live again.


Meridian Overseer |
Artifact Creature - Golem
At the beginning of your upkeep, unless you control exactly two creatures named Meridian Overseer, end the turn.
, Sacrifice Meridian Overseer: End the turn.
The final legacy of Argentum: two glimmering beacons upholding the very procession of time itself. Neither has seen the other, and yet they work in perfect harmony.

Thundergloves |
Artifact - Equipment
Equipped creature has “: Put a charge counter on target permanent.”
At the beginning of your upkeep, Thundergloves deals damage to each creature equal to the number of charge counters on that creature.

Void Lattice |
Artifact
, : Until end of turn, static abilities of permanents are inactive.
Into it falls light, energy, and the occasional goblin.


Nightcreep Plains |
Land - Plains
At the beginning of your upkeep, flip Nightcreep Plains.

Dawnglow Swamp |
Land - Swamp
At the beginning of your upkeep, unflip Dawnglow Swamp.


Terrestrial Sink |
Land
When Terrestrial Sink enters the battlefield, exchange control of it with target land an opponent controls.
: Add to your mana pool.

I choose to enjoy. Many of these cards are very interesting. I especially like Terrestrial Sink, Projection, Living Conduit (I designed this card as well but it was a 4/4 for 3RR), and Break Pride.

All of the other cards are really well designed as well, namely the ones based on the Praetors.

The only card I would offer constructive suggestions on would be Fuse. I would change it to an enchantment or give the ability to a creature instead. As an enchantment I would leave it white, but if it was on a creature it could have a decidedly black flavour.
