Sixty good point on the choreography . I thought that was fine cuz it’s impossible to not look at Harley the whole time who has really fun moves. But like the main climax fight scene is soooo long that it’s boring. I was honestly yawning out loud and people were looking at me like I was crazy

It’s more that Harley has no depth so once you « get it » , it gets very samey. Her chaos gets old and predictable

But when she raids the cop station by herself, it’s really an amazing sequence. like Phantom menace sabre fight awesome

Also how many hand-to-hand combats do you have to witness smaller, thinner women constantly winning against big burly men before your suspension of disbelief kicks you to the curb « you are in a movie theatre »

Mandalorian lady I bought easy as an ass whooper. I can buy undersized ladies taking out ogres if they’re super powered, or caught them off guard, or some crazy martial arts stuff. Might not be perfectly realistic but easy suspension of disbelief. I get taken out of the film if I’m seeing feathers one punch bricks all day tho.

I saw a clip from Birds of Prey with Harley on roller skates in a funhouse and she’s whacking dudes off their feet with her hammer while stationary, and hip checks a henchmen off his feet while staying on hers - not even bouncing backwards (all this while looking about as steady on skates as my 8 yo daughter whose worn skates like 3 times). I’m wasn’t thinking ‘oh this is sweet’, I’m thinking ‘yo, that’s not how physics works’...

He'd certainly like that. He has mastered modern media in understanding how to manipulate them. You just need to do stuff to dominate news cycles and you become insanely relevant to everything. Your net worth goes up and up and up. As soon as he starts to leave the news cycle, he fires off a tweet.

I can't believe that Biden and Warren might drop out soon. It's crazy to me. When this happened to the republicans in 2016 and Jeb eventually quit the race, you could at least understand what happened. Here, I can't understand why Amy K is still in but Biden and Warren might be on the way out.

The most impressive to me is not he's ability to manage the agenda, what still impresses me is the nature of the speech with wich he's able to do this.

Trump understands how to manipulate people.

Designate an enemy. Convince people how that enemy has or will make their life worse so they are afraid of what the enemy can do to them. Offer them a solution to that enemy that only you are willing to provide.

Basically, rile up a mob and keep them riled up.

This has slowly been building since the late 90's when Rush and Fox found an audience by speaking to peoples fears and showing them they were victims.

The media makes it worse because they realize that there is a ton of money to make off controversy. Fox showed them the way, and now they are profiting also. If the media really wanted to 'hurt' Trump, they would stop covering him, but that would cost views/clicks. It is a symbiotic relationship between Trump and the Media.

Biden and Warren haven't dropped out yet - I was speculating earlier based on polling dips and first two primary stops. Warren is a point ahead of Amy in delegate count IIRC. My thinking of Amy as #3 was based on Biden dropping out, she getting his supporters (similar moderate candidates, but she's not looking senile like he is) and going in front of Warren, them getting a portion of hers when Warren drops out.

Mjacks right - the picture will be more clear after Super Tuesday. Things can def shake up from how it looks now. But I legit think Biden's done - that seems the most safe prediction. He's looking mentally unfit, saying some really bizarre things. I think that's having a major effect on his nose dive in polls. Wocahontas isn't as sure a drop out as Biden is to me, but she's trending in wrong direction

So what's the scenario where Trump loses?

Trump could have a health incident. This could be a physical incident or it could be his word salad getting bad enough that it actually alienates his base.

Trump could also do something so stupid his base won’t even be able to adequately defend it. Ie. Launch nukes, start arresting Republican senators, etc.

Or Trump could lose the election because a majority of voters hate him. The election is legitimately a coin toss depending on turnout atm; so it somewhat depends on which party does more stupid **** in the next 9 months.

For trump to lose he’ll have to be ahead in the polls or it has to be close. That would cause a huge turnout for Dems
