Well, it hurts me deeply to cut Titan. He was amazing against Aggro, however it's been months since I last played, and as such I trust Keem and Monks judgment.

I have officially retired my creatureless* deck in favor of Monkeem for now. I have tried really hard to make a good creatureless* deck but it just isn't working with this pool, there are only a few marginal changes I can make. The sweepers aren't effective enough to keep the board clear so I really suffered vs tokens or aggro and often had to tap out completely to play obelisk. And the draw was not effective enough to ensure a steady flow of counter magic. Rhox and BSA add a lot to this deck, and you generally can close the game out fast enough vs. matchups like spider spawning that specialist cards like suffer the past are not necessary.

My creatureless deck actually had several archaeomancers and Kozilek, the archaeomancers actually helped a ton. Kozilek is much more playable in a build with 4 other creatures because your opponent is more likely to exhaust their removals on rhox and BSA.

So much this. Headkase doesn't need to play well, though, he's just a great guy to watch. Really enjoy his videos. I'll make sure to comment and give Monk his credit, though. :)

That video was hilarious. That vampire swinging into the red zone every turn while he had an obelisk and black mana.

I'm thinking Planar Cleansing might be easier to fit into a 4 color list now, but haven't gotten around to tinkering with it.

Can we get that into a table now that the planner is updated? Can we play Planar Cleansing now? With four sweepers we could probably cut Shock, it is the weakest card in the list. Angelic Edict is also a possible cut with Planar Cleansing in the list.

It all depends on the mana, though, I'll have a look when I get home.

To be honest I wouldn't mind cutting shock and edict for 2 cleansing and 2 treasure find. I just need to rework the mana. Give me half hour to brew it up

My thought was cutting those four cards for two Cleansings and two Quickens. We have Banefire, Ground Assault, Anger of the Gods, and Planar Cleansing at sorcery speed. That's eight powerful cards right there.

Quicken also adds to the deck's draw power and lets us hold open counterspells in spots we couldn't otherwise.

I don't know if cutting Edict or Shock is the right call. Cutting Shock opens you up to getting blown out by Aura decks bc they get out of Ground Assault range pretty fast. Edict has been significant vs opposing Kozileks.. and now we have Darksteel in the mix.. but I've never had a Darksteel resolve against me

The fourth copy of Visions is a potential cut now due to extra trilands and the ability of Cleansing to deal with any non-land permanent, so it's possible Edict stays.

Separate topic for my 5 color deck, but I am actually thinking of adding in tribute as an out against auras and 5 color good stuff decks that run fat creatures and banefire.

I have tested Quicken in my own deck and it has tended to be underwhelming. The problem is that the number of draw effects in these decks are already so high. If you run 4 think twice and 4 inspiration plus 2 quicken it makes mulligan decisions very difficult. If we could run more powerful / fewer draw effects (e.g. Sphinx's Revelation) then it would make such opening hands much less likely.

Visions isn't just for fixing IMO, it is for hitting land drops all the way up to 8 or 10 if you are mana starved. Then again I am not on the war monk plan, so YMMV.

Also I didn't look at your manabase in detail Monk but with all the trilands it is possible to really fine tune your mana, e.g. make sure that you do not have any trilands with R and G and make sure you do not have any trilands with W and G, although maybe you can't do both at the same time.
