There's not much as fun as repeatedly playing Shackles and drawing your whole deck. That deck was great.

Get that Shackle Backle!

Ok i installed all three of these old Magic games. I guess I gotta download the DLC individually?

yeah. just go to manage game and it should show the dlc you have already bought was like that for me. I never got dlc for 2013, I had gone to playstation right after the game came out and never got 2014 on xbox either. kinda sucks.

You're a braver man than I. So much grinding required to unlock those PoS decks. The only one worth playing is DotP 2013. The library of decks included in others is just **** disappointing. Even with 2013 you risk, if playing with randoms, running into Goblin Gangland over and over again. It just isn't worth the 25-30 games to unlock each deck. How many games do you realistically plan to play with these old games? Are you going to be spending more time grinding out the unlocks or actually playing?

I guess if you have the unlock keys it isn't that bad, but I think 2012 and 2013 were the only ones where deck unlocks persisted. 2014 you would buy an actual key (as apposed to buying a deck) which was one time use only, and if you deleted your game from your ps3, xbox or cpu, you lost that key permanently.

if you have already played them on the xbox 360 and had gotten all dlc and had cards unlocked, then there is no grind. just have to download it to the xbox one. everything is the way I left it from the 360 days

I don’t plan on playing then much

Would be nice just to play some of those fun decks again a bit

Lucky xbox. PS3 doesn't hold the unlocks. I haven't tried steam.

Are you sure that's true for all three, 2012-2014? I have keys for around 1/2 the decks in 2013 and a handful of decks in 2012, so I don't have to unlock those. 2014, I'll never play again since my deck keys weren't persistent.

I have all my 360 save data and all my decks are intact the way I left them. It's great.

Get that Shackle Backle!

Plus Sterling Grove + Privileged Position = everything hexproof forever.

Other than being forced to sac, anything with Unquestioned Authority or Spirit Mantle and Pariah is quite the lock also. :coffee:

Ok, granted forced sac, enchantment removal or board wipe kind of nixes it but I've won many games that way. I still get an inner smile when someone obviously new to the game repeatedly pauses to try and figure out why their unblocked attacks do nothing to my total.

I was on Pabst... whataboutit?

Okay, but what are you putting them on? There's no lock here, at least not yet anyways. Direct damage and destruction can be added to your already long list of ways to disrupt this unless it's indestructible or hexproof.

Pabst? Bro?

Unrelated; Wish I had an xbox. I've never played against Hakeem.

Hehehe
Like I said in my backpedaling it can be disrupted as there aren't any hexproof cards in Something of Light (cannot remember the name) and even if there was a sac could take it out.
Alright... It may not be a lock but it has caused much fun and there's always Retether. Regardless it's worth all the pauses new players do trying to figure out what's going on.
Pabst.... it's winter time and I work in construction so it's a budget consideration. I'd much rather, and will soon, have some of the great local beers around here. 4 Hands, Urban Chestnut, Shlaflays, etc. None of that damn AB ****. Pabst is better than that swill. Payday I do try and treat myself. My local close to me gas station has a 6 of Paulaner Salvator in the cooler for me waiting for Friday.

K so I’ve played all three a bunch. I only really like M14 cuz of the random decks which really keep it fresh

The only problem is the other two games remembered how I built my decks perfectly and M14 turned them ALL into 100 card fat stacks!! What gives?! It took me forever to fine tune those decks :(

Im still playing m14 a ton though. Thanks Hakeem for alerting us to their presence

Trying to win with the dragon deck at 100 cards is TOUGH. And the aura white deck almost guarantees you’ll draw your deck wrong at 100 cards
