I live in London and will be facing soon a player in Australia.

I was considering to bring a new build I'm keen to try out, which has instants, activations and other stop-time-action shenanigans. Could the lag be an issue? Have the tourney-duellers around here faced those challenges?

In our current IOS tourney I faced Mortivore which is 5 hours away and it was fine (that deck didn't have that many instants, though), but I remember that in the BfZ season I had to face a player from Seattle and it was quite the struggle. You had to be all the time on the Stop-Time button and pray for being acknowledged on time. Such stress...

Any thoughts, experiences on the matter appreciated. Thanks.

I play pretty much only instant speed decks and I can connect to people in America from Japan. as long as your aussie friends internet isn't too trash it should be fine

and well given australia's internet averages....
