1) I realize this is a ridiculous long shot.
2) At least I didn't roll 1's.
3) Paladins are fun.

Besides, the wholle point is in playing your PC not taking optimal action!

Talking about doing things just because you have to try!

Question - The Dragon is the 3x3 block currently centered on Sai Yun yes?

True. Though it would have been a whole lot cooler if I could have pulled that off :)

Tomorrow I will probably have scarce access to internet, I'm so much looking forward to see if my pc will make it to land and hold on the dragon...

Also, just to be clear, is Chen Wu the abomination?

You have what the dragon has said.

Yes.

You didn't cow the dragon, but it hinted at some things.

My dice likes to live dangerously, it seems.

DS, can Chen Wu help Mad Mei climb back to the boat in any way? I'm not sure about what to do, so might as well get the favor of the captain.

Yeah, you can spend your action to Help Mad Mei, granting her advantage on her next attempt at whatever you're helping her with.

Climbing on a bigger creature treats that larger creature as difficult terrain and landing on difficult terrain from a jump requires a Dexterity (Acrobatics) check to not fall prone, so I used Swift Snake's second Athletics roll for that.

I lowered the dragon's damage when I thought it might be too much with its legendary actions but these DCs are low low low.

Shouldn't it be my turn?

No worries.

So now I need to figure what to do since I think, unless the Dragon rolls really, really bad, that I just flung myself bravely into the river.

Let's hope I am already distracting the dragon too much and you make it or at least that you just bounce back to the boat.

Sorry, my bad, I forgot to finish the description of where the dragon went. It actually is ten feet under the river's surface now and attempted to Hide but failed. LordFluffy, you can change what you're doing in response, but you can also still jump in after it if you'd like.

If I jump into the water, instead of mounting the dragon, can I simply attack it?

So is the river 15ft deep or 10ft, I imagine the dragon has flattened itself on the river base.Is it 4-5 feet tall in this condition?

On second thought... I'm just going to change my action altogether.
