I was thinking of leaving some of my things behind, if you are ok with it, but if everyone has shown interest in getting off then I could take all of my stuff with me. On a side note Swift Snake has privately informed all of you of his findings during his recon away from prying ears and eyes. Perhaps I have left a map carved on bark with my findings discretely in the professors stuff, if Fel is ok with it

Finally on a PC!!!

DS my compliments on the use of Greek! Both Charopos (which means happy or better yet happy looking) and vlaka (meaning stupid) too bad I am not that much into Vietnamese culture and language to be able to put in such elements in my RP.

I have to admit you are the first storyteller I've ever had that puts such attention in cultural differences and it is very beautiful indeed, I wonder how playing a regular game with you would be.

By the way DS if you like I can give you the Greek version of those words you used: Χαροπός, βλάκα(ς) so you can use those directly.
(Στάχτη or Σταχτί) the first means ash and the second is an adjective used for the same color (ashen I assume)

Thanks! I try :) And thanks for the offer, but I prefer to put the romanization just so people who don't read Greek can still read the text.

I did some quick Paint sketches. First is outside the temple, with the brown being the boardwalk and the red is the temple walls. Second is the temple floor, though imagine the steps being less wide and the base being much wider. Third is what I meant by the floor rising up to form the dragon's head. This is the back of the temple. And the dragon figure from the waterline up is gilded in gold and jade.

Does the main hall pass under the dragon's head to reach the back of the temple? How deep is the water? Should someone climb over the dragon head, could he reach the back of the temple or the roof? Are there rooms or other exits at the sides of the temple? Is there a ceiling over the dragon's head?

For now the way I imagine the temple there is this continuous corridor, flooded in the middle with large steps, maximum depth I would say waist high. We have passed the entry under the arc following one of the "sidewalks" then they leave me behind and go on straight towards the back of the temple. The dragon head is sustained by both walls uniting in the middle over the body of water which passes under it and is sustained by the water flux arriving from the dragon's mouth. The sisters have passed under the dragon head and are moving deeper inside it. There is no hiding place between us except hiding under water or using the shadows formed by the torches. I could either move using both shadows and the water as cover or climb over the dragon's head and follow them from high ground, perhaps moving in the shadows searching for a way to follow them without being seen. I imagine they will split up and the younger sister will watch the temple exits to make sure I stay inside

The dragon's head is a merging of the floor and the back wall of the temple, it is just wall on either side of the dragon's head. The temple is basically just this hall.

Ahahaha, just rolled on the IC thread...I think I sprained my brain...
Rolls:
a) History
drvonwolfen rolled 1d20-1 and got a total of 1:
2
for lore on this particular temple and the dragon head (I shouldn't be that versed in the history of this region, perhaps this should be a roll with disadvantage
b) Religion
drvonwolfen rolled 1d20-1 and got a total of 0:
1
for lore on the religious significance of dragons and this one in particular

DS: When you say "green shadow snake" is this a snake that looks like it's made out of green shadow or a kind of snake that the average person would be familiar with? How big is this thing?

I thought "snake" was used as a verb = a "green shadow" snake...

I just did the math again. Sai's average d20 roll has dropped from 10.2 to 9.4.

F'n grr.

Garren, you wouldn't be calling down to anyone. A riverboat isn't much higher than the river itself and you're level with the dock and boardwalk. There was only a plank up at Two Hills because there weren't proper docks, pretty much just river bank.

Ah right. I'll edit the word choice then. I knew it was a low boat but didn't think it was that low.

Also damn it Swift Snake! Stop getting us booted off the boat. Leave the poor smugglers alone. They ain't hurting anyone. Well they're probably hurting someone but no-one we know.

Swift Snake, the socially awkard monk sounds like the name of a sitcom I would watch.

 :D Ahahahaha, hope this last post helps, Swift Snake can be very awkward and inopportune, keep in mind he has passed years alone in the jungle imitating the animals and that he is partly only a child... some social conventions are really difficult for him to graps.

I am really having fun trying to portray Swift Snake's strangeness. Both cultural differences, differences due to his particular upbringing and even his age help render him really eccentric. It is nice to see I am passing the right vibe!

Bad dice buddies!

High five and hope we don't actually critically hit each other in the face!
