Somehow, when I listen to this, I can't help but imagine Philosopher Scepter and Lumina and Marid riding in an elevator together, and staring awkwardly up at the floor number display while not talking to each other, as this plays in the background. :)

Marid: MARID YOU ARE SHARING AN ELEVATOR WITH TWO LIVING LEGENDS OF SOLPHOS. STAY CALM MARID. STAY CALM

Lumina: I THOUGHT PHILOSOPHER SCEPTER WAS DEAD THIS IS SO AWKWARD

Scepter: Why are they looking at me like that? Did I forget to apply my glamer this morning?

And now I'm imagining everyone having to slide slightly awkwardly around Scepter's scepter in order to scoot into the elevator. :)

Is it just me, or does the word "hangar" look like a fantasy barbarian's name?

No, no, no, it's "Han Gar, twin of Hun Gar, son of lord Rek Gar and the lady Non Sequitur."

So, I took the promotion at work.
In other updates, I've got a few moderately successful projects in the pocket, but I've ground out of momentum on them, so I've a shred of frustration on that.

But all told, as irksome as that is, it might be best at te moment since an absolute storm of new games are dropping this month.

I've felt mildly guilty for being so quiet as of late, but I've sadly been at a loss for much to say.

Nothing to feel badly about. I think we pretty much all come and go at times, and like you said, there's just not always a lot to say.

Thanks guys.
The thing that pushed me over was the paid vacation.

And I honestly have no clue why it took me so long to respond to that...

2 possible factors:
1) $
2) Time off
You hate one of these things.

Oh no, I meant the congratulations.

The position is one I've been offered a few times before. But NOW I'm getting paid vacation on top of it.

Guess your boss really wants you in management. I don't see them sweetening the deal otherwise.

Well, that's kind of part of the catch.
We got bought out and the new company is MUCH better about this sort of thing.

Well, it happened today. My mom told me as I got off work. I wasn't at home. I haven't really let myself feel it yet.

We gave him another 2 months he otherwise wouldn't have had. I'll miss him a lot.

I know how you feel buddy. It wasn't that long ago I was going through the same. If you need to let it out, you know how to get ahold of me.

I can't send you warm cookies through the mail, but I can sent warm thoughts over the internet.

I'm doing so now. I wish you the best of luck as you grapple with this.

Just remember- you were one of the most important people in your cat's life and you made a big difference in their life.
