D'awww, shucks. Y'all are makin' me blush.

I'd like to point out that said saves were part of "Wave 1 mass-save panic attack" on the mothership. I believe there was a "Wave 2" between then and the Great White Death, but I can't recall.
I guess we can admire each other, then, Keeper. Part of what draws me to you is how much importance you put on information preservation.
I am always slightly hurt when I see information deleted in some way or another. Books are almost holy to me -- I can't even bring myself to highlight in a textbook or fold a corner to mark a page. When google rolled its facebook competitor into youtube, my biggest problem was that all the previously linked comments were suddenly scattered like so many loose pages in the wind. I always feel like I missed out on great things whenever I'm reminded that H8_Seed deleted most of his work and put a stop to it. Seeing creative works crushed under copyright-crazed organizations makes me lament for the works not being there anymore, not for the creative stagnation it represents (not to say I don't feel the latter, just that the former is the priority).
Actually, a lot of what keeps me up far later than what I should be is the desire to know more, to hear more, to see more, to absorb more of the interwebz into my brain. My main reason for wanting to become immortal is so that I can keep learning and experiencing. It is also, unfortunately, why I detest the idea of devoting (what should be) 1/2 of my waking hours to work or school or whathaveyou.
Definitely in my top 5 reasons why I hate driving anywhere.
