Happy birthday, Luna! I know the number in parentheses after your name says 28, which I am assuming is your age, but for me It's_Always_42.

Happy birthday and we all apologize for the pun on Raven's behalf.

Thank you all for the birthday wishes, and here's to a happy turkey day to you all as well.

Family came down for the week, so I've been kind of busy. Going to keep this short, as well. Have a happy turkey day.

Today, of all days, I am supremely thankful for the friends who -- to crib a sentiment from Beryl -- have helped me to be the person I think I'm supposed to be, and you are all among that wonderful group.

Happy Thanksgiving to you all. You are wonderful, and you are loved. <3

I've been a bit silent lately, but that's just because work has been gut kicking me pretty regularly. I keep trying to get up, but then it's boot to the stomach. I'll be alright, it's nothing unfortunate, just the daily grind sanding off more than usual.

But in other news, I'm sitting on another finished story. I'm less confident on this one because I feel like there's probably a clunky part or two that isn't especially organic and is just forced because the story needs it.

Even further beyond, I've maybe about a half dozen other stories simmering in the old brain pan. They need more time to marinate though. Our maybe the oven just needs to cool before I try cooking anything else.

Lastly, i cannot express how I'm feeling about the Alita movie. I've waited twenty years for this and public opinion has me very anxious because I feel so personally invested.

I wish I could say the same, but my time eater has been NaNoWriMo. Which is kind of funny because instead of starting the first draft of a new novel I decided to keep going with the (admittedly first draft) I had been working on daily up until then. I mean, I'm 158k in overall and 43k for NaNo, which is great, but it still feels kind of sucky that I haven't put any of that energy towards something I can show off here.

So, I'm curious, before I go through the trouble, does anyone have any interest in my making a dossier for the two Enforcers from the recent Donagut story?

I'd say yes, especially if they're going to feature in future stories, but I'm not going to involve them in a story in the foreseeable future, if that's what you're asking.

Hey, hey, M:EM friends! I am off to GP Portland next week, where I'm going to cosplay as this Dimir vampy boi from the Guilds of Ravnica concept art. (If you're a Dimir spy, I guess it's probably not the smartest move to put your guild logo on your outfit, but, hey, I never said I was a very good spy...)

I will be without my computer for a bit while I'm on the road, but, when I get back, I'm going to start on holiday cards! So, if you'd like a card, and haven't yet sent me your updated address, please do so sometime this week!

Well, obviously you should wear an unremarkable coat over the outfit. Or even better, a second cosplay from a different guild!

Hey all. I've been sick with... probably a cold? It's not great, whatever it is.

Sorry I've been quiet. Things have been so very busy. I might stay that way until the holidays are over.

I won't lie, I initially misread that as "sick with... Probably a child?"
Regardless, feel better buddy.

Turns out, it was apparently bronchitis!

That sucks!

I'm still getting over it

But I am on the road to recovery. I can breathe like 85% now.
