Agricultural Degradation
Enchantment
Lands you control have, "Whenever this permanent becomes tapped, you may sacrifice it. If you do, add one mana of any type that land could produce."
Double the bounty from reaping. Triple the effort for sowing.

So multiple influences here; started as a RG version of Clear Cutting posted elsewhere in this forum (credit to that designer, whoever you may be), but decided that this type of card would actually slot very nicely into Nic Fit decks and maybe even some Loam Pox decks (Legacy) as a way to consistently obtain mana to enact their game plan, so it was made BG instead. As for the flavor, while the agricultural angle works well for the card itself, but I was actually inspired by emphasis on short-term results as opposed to long-term success in certain companies.

Squandered Resources, which I think was banned back in the day.

Considering that it is from Visions, I doubt a more expensive (mana-wise) version would be banned today, especially since it may have been banned back then due to a lack of answers to combo; also I believe it was the core of ProsBloom.

However, I will concede the awkward wording was a byproduct of the original RG design, which did not have a 'you may' rider.
