Eh, the wording's a little weird. Having the thing with exhaust not being the thing flavourfully exhausted is tripping me up here.

At the last minute before posting I realized that Alara was all about multicolour and thought I'd edit accordingly.

Tidal Patterns -

At the beginning of your upkeep, choose one -

Put an ebb counter on Tidal Patterns.
Remove all ebb counters from Tidal Patterns and put a flow counter on it. Draw a card for each ebb counter removed this way, then discard a card for each flow counter on Tidal Patterns.

This is it. This is the most Zendikar card there could ever be. Well I guess it could also be a land, but this is pretty close.
