probably still leaning towards U no matter the cost. it's very readily trading for 1 for 3 at 3/3 body.

I'd make Loremaster uncommon. Mulldrifter is precedent for a similar effect at common, but the fact that they made it uncommon when they reprinted it says a lot.

I guess there's Citanul Woodreaders, but that's older than Mulldrifter and Planar Chaos so might be bad evidence for both color or cost. At least I imagine Mulldrifter was uncommon for its power level, something that Citanul Woodreaders doesn't have to worry about it.
