Under the assumption that answering this question won't get me into some kind of moderation trouble..

It's obviously aspect. I decided to ignore his jibes and left the limited forums, and now he's seeking attention by following me to standard deck help. I'm well aware he's a troll, but I'm holding out hope he will up his game and try to impersonate an actual pro instead of dodging me. :)

He'll keep following you as long as you pay attention to him.

There's your mono black opinion.

If you're going to run a lot of swamps AND forests then this isn't mono black and I'm checking out.

WTH is going on here anyway?

:censored:

Uh what?

17x basics means swamps + forests.

i never called this mono black or mono anything.

i really have no idea what you're talking about, but please take your posts either to the forum business section or confessional. i really could not care less about your stalker/paranoia.

Stalking is a serious problem. I don't understand how you can be so callous about a serious social issue.

Please keep your posts on topic!

On topic: I like the inclusion of Nighthowler, how does it play? Is it ever worth bestowing?

Honestly, haven't really tested much.

In theory the deck is supposed to counteract the ridiculous aggro fetish wotc has.
99% of the format has a heavy creature base so it's supposed to be a late game beatstick.

Well if its two color please post the actual mana base. Its as important a part of the deck as anything and people usually shortcut it when its all the same kind of basic land... hence the mono black assumption. So my bad for not knowing your mind better.

The deck should need more action for the win. Did you consider Shadowborn Demon?

While I think Shadowborn Demon is the bee's knees, I think I'd rather have in a deck that has more creatures in it. Grisly Salvage + Commune with the Gods is going to be strong for a while (especially when the mana base opens up a bit). It sucks that Nighthowler wasn't in last standard because I think it would have been awesome. I hope we get enough graveyard stuff in the next set to make it a powerhouse.

It's incredibly obvious if you take three seconds to think what "basic lands" could mean in a blatantly bicolored deck.

Like Shadow pointed out, there aren't enough creatures in my deck for Shadowborn to be viable.
If it included the opponent, then yes it would be great.

You can't just take a 'bye' on the basic lands part of the manabase. Build it. You're going to figure something out in short order that was missing from the first proposed manabase. I could just tell you, but I'd rather let you find it on your own since you're in a kind of 'shields up' stance right now.

Chu, I'm thinking about something with those cards. We should talk.

Tony, his post was exactly as trolly and pointless as your response to Niche's actual post was.

Please stay on topic guys.

Not really.

Passively aggressively attacking me and then me pointing out the irony is not me trolling.

Really?

I posted a decklist.

The thread got spammed up.

I requested people keep on topic.

I got attacked.

I responded.

Maybe it's your internet personna schtick to be obnoxiously negative, or maybe you're actually 14.

But please just go away.
