Simple Rules:
  1. Anybody may join.
  2. Serious cards only (No cards meant for Un-sets; humorous flavor text or card names are fine as long as the card could feasibly be seen in a normal set, like Launch Party or Mirror Match).
  3. One card per person (unless otherwise asked for in the criteria*).

Information:
  • The winner of this contest will have their card nominated for Card of the Week.
  • Cards are judged primarily by my own opinions, as augmented by available comparisons.
  • Mini Edition YMtCotWs run by me will appear sporadically and consist of a single criteria.
  • The criteria will usually be very vague, with the intention of encouraging many types of entries.
  • As it tends to be an issue when I post criteria, "tribal card" (lowercased) refers to a card that interacts with a specific creature type and "Tribal card" (capitalized) refers to the card type.
  • Mini Edition contests will last for 2 to 3 days.

Also assembly worker is like the most niche, useless type ever. Because assembly workers are just constructs that Wizards doesn't want interacting with other artifact creatures.

Considering Mishra's Factory is the original Assembly-Worker and was made in a period when Construct wasn't even close to being considered a viable creature type...I'd have to disagree.

Uncle Istvan used to have the creature type Uncle Istvan but now he's just a Human. Obviously Wizards has a reason for not retconning Assembly-Worker as Construct. And the only justification I can think of is that they want Assembly-Workers to not play nice with the large majority of artifact creatures that exist.
