I don't get why it gives the creature defender after tapping it. Is there a card I'm not aware of that allows tapped creatures to attack?

Put a 4/4 red Dragon creature token with flying onto the battlefield, then refract. (To refract, put a token onto the battlefield that is a copy of a creature you control. That token has haste. Exile it at the beginning of the next end step.)

Complex Organism is all creature types.
As long as another creature you control has flying, Complex Organism has flying. The same is true for first strike, deathtouch, double strike, haste, hexproof, indestructible, intimidate, landwalk, lifelink, menace, protection, reach, trample, and vigilance.

I'm kind of curious how this wording works if there are two of these out. Do they start feeding each other abilities once the progenitor of that ability leaves the battlefield? I suppose I could clunk it up and add an exclusion clause for other creatures named Complex Organism, but...I kind of want to spark the debate with this card. :incognito:
