I'm betting they clam up and never address it.
If anybody asks, they just pretend they didn't hear them.

But still, I'm not all that upset if they do. Still better than how they handled literally anything with Nissa.

Can you edit the thread title to be "[SOI-ICD] Nahiri, the Harbinger"?

I know I should, but having just 'Nahiri' in the title is more fun, it makes it more portentous. Like a portentous Elvis.

I bet you're triggering a lot of people with the thread title

Also what a boring card. meh

The card is interesting, but I'm not sure how good it will be. The facial expression on Nahiri looks a little off to me. The second ability feels oddly developed. However, whatever is going on in the background looks sweet.

To be fair, there is a history of rockslide type spells being red. It makes sense that she draws on red mana when she is not making equipment and suspension fields.

Wait, yeah. Jace, Sorin, and Alrinn are on the booster packaging. Are we getting four planeswalkers this set?

Sorin probably doesn't need a card this set so you may get tamiyo.

I dislike that background.

Don't you think you're grasping at straws? I don't know why they wanted it to exile tapped artifacts (maybe so it couldn't hit equipments), but I doubt it was to reference some random core set merfolk.

In formats older than standard could you imagine ever using the ultimate to grab a non creature artifact? Like you're playing Vintage and you need your black lotus as the last piece of a combo maybe? The only reason I can think for them saying "artifact or creature" (flavour doesn't count) is that there is going to be a big artifact in this set that you'd want to grab with her more than you'd just want to grab the best standard legal creature.

One of the more playable planeswalker cards out there. My main question is how she remains so young. Most other oldwalkers have a reason for being immortal or particularly long lived, and Liliana's whole thing was that she got really really old quite a while back since the mending, even though she started out young still when the mending happened. Are Kor just super-long-lived? Did she do something to gain immortality? Did the Eldrazi do something to her to give her immortality?

Its in one of the uncharted realms during Khans block its revealed that she transmuted herself into stone and went into a kinda hibernation state during the mending on Zendikar. Once the eldrazi were awoken it snapped her our of that state and she re- transmuted herself into flesh and discovered the wrongness of the plane, at which point she planeswalked to Innistrad to find Sorin to explain what the heck is going on.

Olivia has been supplying her with the blood of virgins.
