My neighbour has ruined me. He calls it "Terramorphic in my pants", and now that's all I can read.

We first saw that Saproling art in Explorers of Ixalan, which is weird now that I think about it, because I can't find a single card in that product that creates Saprolings. Now I'm very confused.

But it's cool to see that Saprolings will be coming back in Rivals.

I believe one or more of the tiles in the game itself does.

Oh, that makes sense.

So cities blessing, an fnm event type item or perhaps a parasitic mechanic like the monarch?

Rekindling Phoenix looks cool

I'm guessing a 3/3 flyer for 4 that makes the token when it dies

I am liking Brass' Bounty. I like seeing this sort of thing in red.

Boundless Realms is usually better unless you run out of basic lands in your deck or you want the mana this turn. EDH decks running both those cards will be pretty nuts. Genesis Wave for 25? Is that card even legal in EDH?

It is, but most decks that would use it for an insane number would rather Primal Surge to go full "oops, all permanents"

You can also leverage the fact that they are artifacts for things like Ghirapur Aether Grid

And the fact they're tokens for Doubling Season/Anointed Procession/Parallel Lives

Between Brass's Bounty and Storm the Vault, it almost looks like Wizards is attempting to make a standard storm type deck make an appearance...

We even got a storm card in Unstable! Storm has defied the storm scale!

I think the 'trinket' is the Immortal Sun, and there is plenty of gold in the city. The Admiral isn't going to risk her life for something of unknown value when she can just leave with boat-fulls of gold without a fight.
