The real problem is toxic players on your own team, which does not necessarily go away in AI matches. The best way to deal with a toxic player is to inhect positivity into the team if you are able, and otherwise to just ignore and report.

We should play as a 5-stack sometime. Call it the NGA Pubstomp.

I deal with toxic players by finding it entertaining. I really don't remember that much of it from when I was playing HoN though.

I'd be down for it, probably.

I can't play much right now, due to the limits of South African infrastructure. And when I do play, it's mostly on the Europe server these days.

So NGA, what's your favorite hero? Is there a particular hero or set of heroes that you main, or simply have a fondness for?

Personally, I'm a big fan of Anub'arak and ETC. I love harassing enemies and making fearless plays. It's awesome to dive the enemy team and set your teammates up to absolutely destroy them, knowing that you were the one who made it happen. (A honorable mention to Uther as well, who has great crowd control in his own right and becomes awesome with the Judgment skin.)

My most played hero is furion. I like cho and gall but can't be bothered to go into the channel to look for team mates any more. I play valla a lot too. I guess I like low pressure stand-back heroes. But I like to try every different hero - if I don't have a particular quest, I might just put it on random.

I think my favorites are Leoric and Tyrande -- they're certainly my most played of late, with Tyrande being my sole level 10 for the time being.

Leoric is just plain fun. I play Leoric, and I feel invincible. Even in the worst-case scenario I'm playing constantly and back in the effective action WAY ahead of any other character (even Murky, considering his worst case is egg destroyed). I haven't really gotten the hang of Entomb, mostly because vs. AI teams are pretty disorganized I feel, but with March of the Black King I regularly pull stupid numbers.

Tyrande is a support who really wants to be an assassin. Her healing is there, but so-so at best. However, that vulnerable, that stun, that global reach with a well-aimed Sentinel!

Honorable mentions to Sgt. Hammer (Extreme variant playstyle), Li Li (My first favorite support with smart heals and attacks), and Nova (I know she's probably still terrible but she's so much fun)

Step 1: Catch an enemy hero out of position, preferably with a ganking partner.
Step 2: Skeletal Swing. Entomb. Drain Hope.
Step 3: THE SKELETON KING CALLS YOUR NAME.

I like to play any hero that most people consider difficult; Abathur, vikings, Brightwing, Zeratul. Also any hero that has a gimicky build like ult spam tyrande. She has an upgrade that makes her owl lower cooldowns when you hit someone + battle momentum and a bunch of owl upgrades.

The current meta build is Shadowstalk + Battle Momentum. You abuse the 20s cooldown to get massive healing in addition to Tyrande's already strong utility and damage kit.

I always take Lunar Blaze over Battle Momentum, but they both have similarly high winrates associated with taking them. It makes it that much easier to land a game-changing stun.

Tyrande functions a lot like an assassin but often needs a second player to help you finish people off.

I always just pick randomly (even when I'm doing quests, I'll role a die to pick from the applicable heroes), but Gazlowe is my pet favorite. Spamming turrets in the right places can dish out tons of damage, and pulling off the one-two combo with his heroic always feels great.

I also really liked playing as Sonya back when she could solo bosses at level 10.

Xul, the Diablo 2 necromancer, and Li-Ming, the female Diablo 3 wizard, confirmed as upcoming new heroes.

Take all my money Blizzard
