I'll hold on the myriad possible inappropriate comments.
I'll just say you to hold on, and do what you feel like doing.

So why does it hurt so much?

Bonds are formed through caregiving and affection. Dogs need quite a bit of the first, and can be generous with the second.

Change is inevitable, but we somehow expect things to stay the same. To be able to go back to the happiest times in our lives. When it truly hits that something is gone forever, it wrenches a bit of the foundation we need to function in daily life.

Good luck, Luna.

Ever have that moment where you finish what is, to you at least, a pretty cool scene, something that took a good deal of effort, only to realize that wait, that wasn't your climax, and you're not ready to show it off? And then you make a post like this, but you don't want to hype up what you push out the door next too much, because you might be proud of Scene X but you're not sure how well the full package will go?

I found a penny on the ground once, but it was tails-side up, so I flipped it over and left it for someone else to find the lucky penny. Is that sort of the same thing?

Yeah, I didn't think so, either.

Today's "tragic first planeswalk" haiku:

Challenged a local
To a shin-kicking contest
The loxodon won

Goal for 2017 -- do one of these every day. :)

EDIT:

Oh, hey, happy birthday, Tev!

I picture the speaker of this poem as a ninja. Sort of a Shin-OW!-bi... :paranoid:

Happy belated birthday, Tevish. Sorry I wasn't on to say so yesterday.

--------

In personal news, my mom took my dog to the vet and got some steroid pills, and he's reacting really well to them. So it looks like he may have a few months yet. Thank you all for the kind sentiments. They helped.

So I have an impulse to go in and do a set design for Siraus now that Kaladesh has put fabricate into the pool. Going back over the previous notes, I feel like I need to break it back down to build up. Do I have anyone that would be interested in helping me kick around ideas?

My problem is usually more along the lines of, I finish said scene, and then I realize -- belatedly -- that it breaks continuity with something else in a fatal way, and that I can't use it...

That, plus, I'm usually convinced that my scenes are pretty bad. :)

As long as you don't mind that I'm so bad at kicking that I was basically exiled from youth soccer (Razor can fill you in on the details...), then, yeah, I'd be happy to!

There once was a man from a plane,
That knew nothing of vampiric pain,
But that man was quite tricked,
When, while shaving, he nicked,
The most tempting jugular vein.

What programs do you use to clean a computer?

Last night, i fixed my friends lap-top. I deleted the contents of the prefetch and the shared objects folders in adobe flash player,
all temp files and old data( chkdsk), used ccleaner to uninstall programs and clean the directory(since it was there), deleted pretty much anything i wouldn't have on mine like weird game brands or toolbars, and then i usually try to get advanced system care and malwarebytes.

That wasn't the one you kicked around with me, was it? (Speaking of which, Kaladesh really did a number on it, didn't it?)
