DANGIT BRAND!

What are the odds of seeing a D&D creature in black border? For example, Newplaneica just happens to have beholders and displacer beasts on it.

Sword of Dungeons & Dragons originally made a Beholder token but the D&D Brand team asked if we could switch it to a Dragon as it’s more iconic to their brand.

Chances of a ninja being in Unstable rose a quarter of a percent today.

Ninjas show up when you least expect them (like perhaps before the end of 2017). : )

I have a feeling I am not going to be happy with this set.

The lack of black-bordered cards is disappointing. I was hoping for some goofier looking versions of classic cards.

Squirrels!

Wild guess- Zooming in on the art for the plains you can see the art for island. That contains the swamp, which contains the mountain, which contains the forest, which contains the plains.

So full art lands, are we finally getting lands that are 100% art with no border or text or symbols?

Oooh, or this!

Foil tokens are a nice bonus.

@TPmanW: The Unstable basic lands were revealed at HasCon. The art goes all the way to the edge of the card, with the only borders being a transparent bar at the top and a black bar at the bottom.

I hadn't realized. The plains and forest in particular are beautiful.

Anyone else reading The Unquirer tumblr? I'm not 100% sure it's from Wizards since the splash page for it is so barren, but.....maybe? Either way, it's been kind of a cute read.

I really hope that's real.
Actually, I don't care. It stands on its own.

I came to something of an epiphany while mulling over the spoilers. I'm strangely drawn to the goblins. Now, normally, I abhor the little critters, so my unusual interest kinda perplexed me, but I think I've come around to why.

THESE are Magic's goblins. They've finally gone back to the heart of what a goblin in Magic was instead of the variety of tasteless things dropped on us in recent years. What I was feeling, what drew me to them, was nostalgia.

I know Unstable is a wacky set, but these goblins AREN'T as outlandish as everything else because they're just as outlandish as goblins classically were in Magic. And I've missed that way way more than I realized.

Wizard recently put up spoilers on facebook including what the newly framed steamflogger boss looks like (old art, "frontier" boarder). But one new thing and I wish I could pull up a pick from there. Sword of D&D is real now.

Sword gives +2/+2 and protection from rogues and clerics. If equipped creature deals combat damage to a player put a 4/4 gold dragon token with flying on the battlefield. Then roll a d20, if you roll a 20 repeat the roll.

On top of that this looks like one of the sword of war and peace deal, but a sword/mace amalgamation...

There are no plans for a Bablovia art book.

Yes, the world/plane is called Bablovia.

The plane Unstable stakes place on is called Bablovia.

I'm choosing to believe that they ripped off my idea for Magic: The Musical.

Evidence supports the conclusion.

He has exactly 20 options for each ability. That way you can print it out and use a d20 if you don't expect to have internet access.

Labs seems like the most welcoming and nicer people. Everyone else is clinically insane in some way or another.
