Shielding Veil
Enchantment
If a face-up, nontoken creature you control would die, exile it, then return it to the battlefield face-down with a veil counter on it.
Creatures you control with veil counters on them can't be turned face-up.

Automatically goes infinite with any sac outlet. You may want to change "nontoken" to "face up", considering tokens wouldn't be able to return anyway.

This looks like a trigger, so: "When a face-up..." If that's the case, you don't need to mention non-token: tokens disappear when they touch exile.

I would just get rid of the fluff. You already have a cool card on your hand recycling creatures into face-down dudes. I'd go with a Shirei, Shizo's Caretaker style trigger, with Ixidron reminder text:

Whenever a face up creature you control dies, return it to the battlefield face down at the beginning of the next end step. (Face down creatures are 2/2.)
