Everyone knows that card creation isn't just about how good a card you can give off the bat. It's also about being able to provide helpful feedback and respond well to others' feedback. So why are contests only about individual submissions? This contest aims to do something about that.

It has three rounds.

In the first round, you post cards according to a criterion. This round will not be scored.

In the second round, you comment on the two cards posted before and the two cards posted after you. You will be scored based on the helpfulness of your comments. (For the purposes of 'before' and 'after', imagine that the submissions are posted in a loop, so that the first submission is preceded by the last submission. Thus, if you submitted last, you comment on the two submissions before you, as well as the two submission after you, which are the first two submissions.)

In the third round, you have the chance to post an updated version of your card, responding to others' comments. You will be scored based on your updated card.

The first round's criterion is as follows:

Black's cards are often aligned with immorality and amorality. Create a black card that is strongly aligned with the good.

The first round will end on Sunday.

This is my town, punk!

Grip of Fear
Enchantment (R)
Creatures your opponents control are terrified. (Terrified creatures get -1/-1 and can't attack alone.)
At the beginning of your opponent's end step, transform Grip of Fear.
Did ya hear about Sammy? That vigilante gutted him and left his head in town square...

Amorality has its advantages.

Grim Objective
Enchantment
Whenever you cast a red, green, white, or blue spell you gain 2 life.
Credence - At the beginning of your end step, if you gained 5 or more life this turn, you may pay 7 life and draw a card.

Bright-Eyed Scoundrel
Creature - Human Rogue (U)
Exalted (Whenever a creature you control attacks alone, that creature gets +1/+1 until end of turn.)
Admiration - Whenever the creature you control with the greatest power attacks and it is not Bright-Eyed Scoundrel, you may put a +1/+1 counter on Bright-Eyed Scoundrel.
Even villains have heroes.
1/2

I think admiration can be considered aligned with good somewhat.

Do we get more score if we post multiple cards per round provided that we allow others to post two cards before and after ours?

*snicker* I'm sorry did I make your brain explode? I hope not.

This is a neat idea for a contest. I'm sad to say that I didn't immediately realize I didn't have to grade people's cards until the next round; I kept wondering which cards I was supposed to grade since there weren't enough.

Do we get more score if we post multiple cards per round provided that we allow others to post two cards before and after ours?

*snicker* I'm sorry did I make your brain explode? I hope not.

Two ways this could go:
1) You get just one score- probably tied to the most points a single post's worth of commentary got you.
2) Score is cumulative, so yes.
C) It's not allowed, so it won't matter.

My card:

Akanoth, Ruler Above Rulers
Legendary creature - Vampire Noble
Lifelink
Whenever one or more -1/-1 counters are placed on an opponent's creature, creatures you control get +1/+1 until end of turn.
2/4
