@AzureShade:

Did you run up against:

Jund?

Abzan?

Naya Midrange - the Kibler build with Knight of the Reliquary, Domri Rade, Elspeth, Knight-Errant?

Nothing so realistic. Our FNMs are all drafts, but there are people there with spare "Modern Legal" decks to play around with between rounds. I was just counting turns to victory with, what were basically just slightly more interactive goldfish. None of them were realistically going to win against this thing. I just wanted to see how often a turn-two win would come up, and for me, it didn't come up as often as I would have hoped. Granted, my sample size was kind of small at about 10-sh games, but if you can't stick the landing in what would amount to a five-round tournament, how is this any different than any other "probably will have the game locked up by turn four" deck?

I'm still very curious what specific issues peoe are having that prevent Turn 2 wins? Are you fizzling on turn 2 a lot? Not seeing the turn 2 Paladin often enough? Not having 2 mana to cast Paladin?

After iterating thousands of matches my early hundred games were just flukes. Deck is great. With an updated list, of course.

Is the name of this deck "Mulligan Eggs"?

What make me sad about the comments of that article is that, by the end, MtG Salvation got a shout out and NGA didn't...

@Azureshade lol good, I was really confused for a bit there.

Not gonna lie, Zac getting credit for my deck stung a little bit. But hey, they both handled it super well and I'm pretty stoked that it's spreading.

Edit: That was at Pariah. Turns out I don't multitask well at work.

CFB running a few videos on the deck, including an ultra-entertaining one by Matt Nass and Sam Pardee.

Rush, the Pardee videos made me happier than anything has in weeks. I forgot the magical healing powers of Cheeri0s, I need to just quit my job and sling Glimpses until my depression goes away forever.

This is the list a bunch of us are taking to SCG Regionals (I'm missing out due to work/school).

4 x Sram, Senior Edificer
4 x Flooded Strand
2 x Hallowed Fountain
3 x Seachrome Coast
2 x Plains
4 x Retract
4 x Serum Visions
4 x Puresteel Paladin
4 x Cathar's Shield
4 x Spidersilk Net
4 x Paradise Mantle
4 x Bone Saw
4 x Accorder's Shield
4 x Mox Opal
1 x Noxious Revival
1 x Grapeshot
2 x Windswept Heath
1 x Sacred Foundry
4 x Sleight of Hand
Sideboard
4 x Leyline of Sanctity
2 x Echoing Truth
2 x Fragmentize
3 x Silence
4 x Path to Exile

With this many cantrips, I'm not sure about running this many shields over some number of sigil.

Popular Pariah, how did regionals go for your friends? Not a fan of running 8 cantrips, but I hope it worked out for you guys!

It says something about modern that something this absurd is merely par for the course. It obviously folds to chalice on 0 as well.

It doesn't fold as hard as you'd think. Sram's ability triggers on casting so he doesn't care if the Chalice counters things. You just have a harder time building up storm because all your stuff is in the graveyard.

It also shuts down Retract, so I think you can say that it beats the deck pretty handily.
