Why make sure that people know that you were once (apparently wrongly) considered to be [gender] but now consider yourself [gender]? Why not leave it at the latter [gender] in the first place?

Sure, there may be a small percentage of people who do that, but having the pronoun/identity section isn't about that.

For Pronouns: As a man, I'm naturally inclined to refer to anyone I don't know as "him" unless their avatar is specifically that of a woman. Having the pronoun section allows me to refer to them properly. And if they are a man who happens to have a female avatar for whatever reason, that helps as well. And if they prefer to be referred to as "they", that's cool too. I don't think I've ever run into anyone who was combative when I used the wrong pronoun to refer to them, but having the pronoun section gives a small possibility to prevent people who are bothered by improper pronouns from having to say "please refer to me as [pronoun]" a lot.

It's simply a tactful inclusion that people can use or ignore.

For Identity: It gives people a sense of their community, that's all. Assuming that it's attention whoring is projection. If you are a transgendered person and see someone else is transgendered, maybe that's someone you can reach out to regarding transgendered issues.

Again, its simply a tactful inclusion that hurts literally no one and can be ignored or used.

Should there be a mtg-like card game players reality show...like, maybe focusing around a shop (like Pawn Stars) and the various games they play...

It plays depressing music (that's how I think of it) but it's so beautiful. It's a beautiful instrument and it's so. You know. Like really emotional. Yeah. Emotional is the word. :)

Sunless Sea was ok. Too much reading on too small a screen.

The DMV website is officially worse than the actual DMV.

Imagine if the DMV website were run by WotC.

I'm not sure if the DMV website is where I had to go to pay my speeding ticket, but that process was very painless.

Your state may very obviously.

Apparently the Yogscast made a sponsored MtG video. I am not sure how I should feel about this.

I also don't recall if there is a way to link youtube videos directly in here. Laziness prevails

Waaaaaait... WHAT ?!
I totally answered one question in "vampiric" fashion. Where that was the most optimal and nice option.
